NuvoLogo helps build business in impoverished countries.

With every logo package sold, NuvoLogo will donate $30 to World Vision to help families start a business through micro-enterprise opportunities. Below is a list of some of the packages the donations can purchase. Unfortunately NuvoLogo clients are not able to choose how their donations are used at this time. We make regular payments and trust World Vision to disperse the money in areas they feel is needed most.

A gift of 10 trees will produce bushels of fruit and gallons of juice rich in vitamins and minerals that
protect children from disease and malnutrition. Extra fruit and juice can be sold at the local market to
obtain eggs, milk, and chickens. And additional income helps keep children in school.

Up to 150 eggs a year explain why a set of breeding chickens and a rooster is popular. Two hens and a
rooster are the beginning of a fantastic flock that can provide a healthy source of protein and steady income for years.

One female rabbit can produce up to 20 baby bunnies a year and are simple to raise, provide a highly
nutritious diet rich in protein, and can jumpstart a great family business.

Harvest Packs include hearty seeds and sturdy tools for planting. And with each Harvest Pack, a World
Vision staff person will provide training to help bring bountiful harvests of vitamin-rich vegetables,
legumes, and grains for years to come.

Hearty olive trees produce a high quantity of good quality olive oil that families can sell for income
and use for cooking. Drought-resistant and perfectly suited to areas with scarce water resources, the trees will be planted for families in need in Jerusalem, Gaza and the West Bank.

Beekeeping is an environmentally friendly business that brings sweet success for struggling families in
developing countries. One hive can produce up to 50 kilos of honey per year -- a pure source of healthy
energy for malnourished children. Honey and beeswax can also be sold at market so parents can earn extra income to buy clothes, send their kids to school, and more.

One dairy cow can transform many lives. These prolific animals can produce up to 20 glasses of milk a
day--more than enough for children to drink, plenty to sell at market, and extra to make yogurt, cheese, and butter. Cows produce manure to fertilize the soil, and they can breed several calves over their lifetime to help many families in need.

A fish farm can provide a lifetime of nourishment and income to children and parents in need. A family in need will receive things like fingerlings (young fish), food, bamboo cages, nets, and training on how to set up their new farm to raise fish effectively for consumption and sale.

Donations can teach a family to fish with a fishing kit that includes fishing lines, hooks, a large net,
and a net repair kit. They'll catch more than enough fish to feed their children, and they'll be able sell
the extra fish in local markets for additional income that can dramatically improve their quality of life.

Donations of $100 will be given in the form of a small business loan, training and assistance to help a
family start their own business and earn a sustainable income. Once the loan is repaid, the money will be lent to other families so they too can break the cycle of poverty by growing and selling crops or livestock, making butter and cheese, starting a small bakery, weaving their own textiles, or any of dozens of other home-based enterprises.

While the majority of the purchase price goes toward buying and delivering the actual gift item,
fundraising and administration costs are also built into the price of each gift - 84.3% of gifts to World
Vision go directly into programs that help children. 10.6% goes to fundraising services, 5.0% is allocated to administration and 0.1% is retained for future use.
